for a total six-night stay. We’ll hold our conference meetings at The Radisson Hotel Nashville
Airport, 1112 Airport Center Dr. Nashville TN 37214 in the Knoxville/Memphis
room. Please call (615) 866-4017 to make your hotel room reservations; cutoff
date to make your reservation is July 10, 2026. The room rate is $104 plus
taxes. It’s an early date to make your room reservation but the hotel will
release rooms blocked off for NCCB on July 10, 2026. Our Bible Teacher delivers a Bible message on Monday, Wednesday, and
Thursday mornings. This year, Bible Teacher will be Dr. Karen Gearreald. Her bio and her credentials are: The daughter of godly Christian parents, Karen Gearreald first heard the
Gospel at home, at church, and through Braille books. In 1952, at the age of eight, Karen accepted
Christ and began exploring the New Testament. She quickly read the entire
Braille Bible from cover to cover as she established lifelong patterns of
prayerful Bible Study. Karen holds a PhD degree in English language and literature from Harvard
University as well as a J.D. degree from Duke Law School. Her spiritual mentors include several sighted
pastors along with three men who are well known to NCCB: Dr. Harry Sutcliffe,
Dr. Ralph Montanus, and Rev. Robert Rathbun. For more than fifteen years, as a
member of the Hadley School faculty, Karen taught Bible courses–by
correspondence--to visually impaired adults throughout the United States and
beyond. She narrated the audio versions of the courses and also updated the
Braille texts. In addition, she has frequently taught Bible lessons for sighted
adults at church and in-home Bible studies. Karen appreciates the privilege of serving as Bible teacher for the 2026
NCCB meetings. Her chosen topic is the
book of Second Peter. In preparation for the meetings, she encourages everyone
to meditatively reread those three precious chapters and to select phrases and
verses for personal application and memorization. The Theme Committee have selected the following theme for this year’s
conference “Walking in Faith” Hebrews 13:1-25 so you may prepare for the
evening messages. Sunday Morning Church Service on August 2nd, begins at 10 a.m. The NCCB
will be visiting the Cowboy Church, 2416 Music Valley Drive, Suite 135,
Nashville, TN 37124; transportation provided. All other morning meetings begin
at 9 a.m. with Prayer and Praise, opening prayer, songs of praise, a
devotional, special music, etc. The Sunday Bible message will be delivered by
Pastor Jay Shupe at the Cowboy Church.
We’ll break for lunch about 12 noon or maybe a little earlier. The Bible messages on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday evenings will be at
the 7:30 p.m. meetings. Sunday will be
delivered by Dr. Cynthia Lyde on Hebrews 1:1-6, entitled “More than an
Overcomer through God’s Love.” Monday
message by Rev. Steven Blow on Hebrews 13:7; 17-19; 22-25 entitled “A Spirit
Led Life.” Wednesday evening message
will be delivered by Dr. Enoch Williams, Jr. on Hebrew 13:8; 12-16 and 20-21
and is entitled “Our Jesus is Lord of All.” You will be inspired by God’s word when you attend the NCCB workshops on
Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Minister Rhanda Hasley will
address the Monday afternoon workshop from Hebrews 13:9-11. Rev. Jay and Sandi Shupe will address the
Wednesday afternoon workshop. Please start by getting your transportation to Nashville lined up and
making hotel reservations, so you make certain you’re ready to go.
Transportation to and from the airport will be provided by the hotel which is
complimentary free shuttle service. At the time you call the hotel reservation
clerk, make the hotel aware of the number of days you’re staying at the
Radisson Hotel, you will be expected to inform the reservation clerk with the
exact dates of the nights you will stay; give the date you plan to check in and
the date you plan to check out. It is
important that you tell the reservation clerk that your room reservation is to
be placed in the block of rooms set aside for the NCCB conference from August
1st till the 7th, 2026. Let’s say it is important to you that you ask the hotel clerk for a
letter or an email of confirmation. If your plans are to stay at the hotel less
than six nights, or that you will check in later in the conference week, or
earlier, then you must inform the reservation clerk exactly what nights you
will stay. Those who live in the local Nashville metro area, you are encouraged to
lodge at the hotel for convenience in attending all the meetings and all the
extra activities and giving you time to fellowship and enjoy your meals
together. You will make your own hotel reservations, and you’ll pay the hotel
directly for your room charges. The person who makes the hotel reservation
provides their credit card number to hold the room, and they will be totally
responsible for paying the entire hotel room charges, and if you have someone
sharing your room and costs, collect from them in advance or at the time of
check in; our contract states that up to four may share a room; please collect
from them before arriving in Nashville at the hotel. The Hotel will charge the
credit card listed and they need only one of your party to submit a credit
card. When making a room reservation at the hotel, you’ll call the hotel at
(615) 866-4017. Ask for confirmation via
print or Email. When you call, give the full name of those staying in your
room, You may have up to 4 people in one room, including yourself as one of the
four. If you are unable to find a
roommate, and want one, please get in touch and I’ll try my best to find one
for you. There’s a restaurant onsite at the hotel for your convenience that
serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our contract states that all those staying
at the hotel will be offered a free daily breakfast. If you decide to eat at an
offsite restaurant during the conference, please know that the hotel’s shuttle
service is primarily for taking guests to and from the airport, so shuttle will
be on the basis of availability only, so getting back to the hotel may be an
issue. Of course, you may schedule with ADA, Uber, Lift, Taxi, etc. Regarding offsite restaurants, there are a few within walking distance
of our hotel; we recommend a sighted person walk with you. Everyone attending the NCCB conference must register, that is where you
will receive the NCCB Program of Events to follow along so that you will not
miss anything throughout the week; you’ll get a name badge to wear while at
conference; I’ll need those returned at the Thursday evening banquet; leave it
on your table or someone will come by and pick it up. Registrations will be held in the Franklin Board Room on Saturday
evening: 6 to 7:30 p.m. For those who
have paid all their conference charges, we ask you to come to the Saturday
evening registration and those who have yet to pay to come on Sunday afternoon
as I may not be able to collect those funds on Saturday. This will keep the registration process
running smoothly on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
People arriving later in the week, please let me know you’ve arrived and
a good time for you to register. All meetings will be held in the
Knoxville/Memphis Meeting Room, and the Exhibits and Displays will be set up on
tables located in the back of our meeting room, so you will easily be able to
find them and visit with the people at each exhibit table. If you’d like to reserve a vendor table, contact the Membership
Secretary at 405-330-1331 or email pauline.ohadi@sbcglobal.net. She will mail
or email you a vendor letter and a vendor form that you will fill out and send
in with payment of $50 per table. Duncan Holmes is the NCCB Choir Director and lead pianist. All attendees
are invited and welcome to join the choir. Choir rehearsals are on Sunday,
Monday, and Wednesday afternoon from 4 to 5 p.m. Meet at the piano in the
Knoxville/Memphis meeting room. Duncan requests all choir members volunteers
sign up by calling him at (830) 456-0416 or send him an email at
duncanholmes46@gmail.com and this is important so that an adequate number of
pages of the hymns will be made. Let Duncan know if you want to know the names
of the hymns he plans so you can become familiar with the words and melody. He
will know names of the hymns as we get closer to conference time. At the choir
rehearsal, Duncan will provide to each of you a Braille copy or a Large Print
copy of the hymns. Regarding the Tuesday Tour, the price is $111.00 which includes
transportation and tickets to the Grand Ole Opry. Those going on the tour will
meet in the lobby on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. The 15 seat multi-passenger vans will
leave the hotel at 6:30 p.m. All
reservations for the Tuesday Tour will be made through the NCCB Membership
Secretary, Pauline Ohadi. If you choose
to go on the Tour, your payment must be sent in before July 1, 2026. Everyone’s payment for the tour is required
to be sent to Pauline Ohadi by July 1, 2026, to the NCCB’s official address
shown below. You may choose to use your own transportation, and in this case,
you will make your own tour reservations.
Any late payment may exclude you from participating. Best to get payment
in early; make payable to NCCB in the form of a check or money order and mail
to: NCCB, P.O. Box 276, Edmond, OK 73083.
The Post Office has slowed down, and it takes 3 or more days to get mail
outside your local area; so keep that in mind. NCCB 2026 Conference Costs: $10.00 – Registration Fee $15.00 – NCCB 2026 Annual Membership Dues $111.00 – Tuesday Evening Tour – Grand Ole Opry Thursday Evening Banquet: $54 Salmon, $49 Chicken, $43.55 Vegetarian

one of the three Entrée items listed for the Banquet meal. Meals served with salad, rolls and butter,

dietary needs, such as a need for sugar free dessert, a diabetic, allergic to
food items, or if you are a vegetarian.
I’m required to turn in the list of our Banquet meal choices 3 weeks in
advance of date of the conference.
Please don’t plan on bringing your registration form and payment with
you at time of registration because that will be too late for me to add your
name to the list of names that I’ll give the hotel caterer. And you’ll miss going to the Banquet. Entertainment at the Banquet will be “Troubadour Nashville” which will
be led by Pastors Jay and Sandi Shupe., God’s leaders of the Cowboy Church
Choir. When you are completing your registration form, please circle of check
mark at each item you are paying for, as I need to inform Enoch who needs to

it as soon as possible or at least by July 11, 2026, along with a check or
money order made payable to NCCB and you’ll be signed up and ready to go to

to be mailed by July 1, 2026. Because the NCCB Board Members want everyone to attend the conference,
we offer financial assistance through a Benevolence Program. We graciously
extend financial help with part of your hotel room expense to those who feel
they can’t otherwise afford to attend the conference. I’ve attached/enclosed a
Benevolence Form for you to complete and send to NCCB, and you’ll be informed
with a phone call from Enoch, if you qualify. NCCB welcomes first timers, all

STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe:
1. That the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2. In one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious, atoning death through His shed blood,
His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4. that, for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential.
5. In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is able to live a Godly life.
6. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto the resurrection of life; the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
7. In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
8. We believe that marriage unites one man and one woman in a lifetime commitment to each other. God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between one man and one woman. Any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, or pornography is a sinful perversion of God’s gift of sex. God also forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery, medication, or appearance.
